A New Year’s Eve to Remember

Set against the enchanting backdrop of Udaipur, Reva and Zach’s New Year’s Eve nuptials dazzled as majestically as a fireworks finale. To mark the momentous occasion, Cheree Berry Paper & Design wove a rich visual tapestry using cultural tradition and personalization as common creative threads. With symbols of India and the individuals saying “I do” on display, we left loved ones feeling wonderstruck well before the wedding itself.

Making an Entrance

From the outset, our save the date booklet beckoned guests to embark on a voyage of discovery as well as a celebration of love. The die-cut cover did more than pique curiosity – it literally and figuratively opened a door into another world, inviting guests to experience all Udaipur and the wedding weekend had to offer.

We added further nuance to the standard save the date narrative with symbolic and sentimental imagery. A cool color palette befitting the City of Lakes perfectly complemented the recurring peacock motif – a nod to the national bird – as well as a copy of a painting that hangs in the bride’s family’s home.

Blind embossed detail that reads We're tying the knot!

Intricate blind embossing on the booklet’s cover, precisely placed photo corners holding the save the date card, metallic foil flourishes and an attached tassel evoked the time-honored textile traditions and craftsmanship synonymous with the Rajasthani region.

Style Files

To help those who may have been unfamiliar with traditional Indian fashion pack for the jam-packed itinerary, we dedicated an entire section of the couple’s wedding website to attire. A digital dress dictionary prefaced style guides and color stories for each event, encouraging guests to embrace the clothing culture with confidence.

I Do in Udaipur

The creative came to life once on site in Udaipur. Silhouettes and shades first seen in the save the date booklet surrounded guests at every unforgettable turn, bringing the designs full circle.
