The Berry House

Planning life’s most delightful moments!

Pencils Sharpened, Ready to go!

First day of school photos were an important part of my upbringing. Bless my Mother, who made an event out of it and so today the CBP flags and other photo props feel like home to me.
Sharing a shot here of yesteryear as proof of my past influences to celebrate any, and all occasions.

So now here we are! At the end of summer; beginning of school! Bittersweet. I don’t want the pool time to end, but I do love all the supplies (esp. the paper) and set schedules that come when the backpacks reappear. This year I will have one in preschool, one in kindergarten and one in second grade. To keep track of this fast track my kids are on, we’re trying to enjoy the push with some CBP bonus items that we hope will make your back-to-school list.

We partnered with Maisonette once again for back-to-school stationery and such. From photo props to teacher notes, stickers to stationery, lunch box notes to book plates and invites for play dates!

New This Year:
Notable Notebook Photo Prop. These are fun for the first and last day of school. Oversized and interactive, fill in his/her school start date and plan a pose. Smile!

Or try something a bit bold, these hilarious Oversized Pencil Props are perfect to announce the start of the school year with a bit of cheer. And for the last day, which of course is a while away, pull out the smaller scrawler! Note the pencil’s wear, both the graphite and eraser are smaller to indicate use.  Fun to see how much they change from day one!

And of course, our first day of school banners, back by popular demand!
